Save yourself the headache and buy the GT 430 instead. The GT 430 has more cores, is faster and has similar system requirements for less money! I went to the local Fry's and picked up the EVGA GT 520 2GB card. The price was fair, and I needed a new one, so I grabbed it and came home. After installing the card, I noticed a huge difference in game performance, and not for the better. My GT 430 ran Portal 2 flawlessly at 1920x1080 with all settings at High or better. The EVGA 520 was slow and sluggish at this level. Only after paring down the graphics and effects was I able to achieve the same fluid gameplay, but at a heavy cost. I tried a couple of other games on it as well, as well as multiple attempts to tweak my settings, but after an hour or so I knew this was not the card for me. I took it back to Fry's and picked up a replacement GT 430. DO NOT BUY THIS CARD. If you're looking for gaming apparatus, look elsewhere, and if you're not, there are other cards at lower prices with the same less-than-stellar performance.
