Many of the fancier cards require a large amount of power. This one works fine with a 300W power supply. This is not a card for hard core gamers, but if you want to have dual monitors it works quite well. Installation took about 5 minutes, 4 of which were getting the computer open. While this card supports DirectX 11 and claims to take gaming to the next level, it falls short. Running it in a Quad Core system with 8GB DDR3 with more than adequate PSU and the card struggles to run games such as The Witcher 2, The Hunter, Dungeons The Dark Lord even at lower resolutions. I tried everything from 1024x768 up to 1600x1200 on a standard CRT monitor to running it on my 40" wide screen LED TV @ 1920x1080. This card just isn't meant for any serious gaming. That's not to say it does not run any games, it does run Sims Medieval and Portal 2 fairly well. This was a major step down from my old BFG 9800 GT OC 512MB card, the only gain I made here at all was DX11 support.
