Nice card for the $. Big bang for the buck.

I had no problem setting this up. You can download the latest NVIDIA drivers, and roll. I've seen a major computer manufacturer sell a work computer with a lesser model card for $26 more.

With Windows 7, this is a reasonably priced video card solution. I don't know about heavy gaming, but my son likes it for his on-line games. My Linux Mint (Debian edition) had no problem with this card. Nice card at the lower end.

The heat sink is rather large, so be aware of that. But it should fit even micro-ATX boxes.

Would recommend, and would buy again.

I bought this in March to upgrade for HDMI output. I was nervous as it said requires 300 watt power supply minimum, but I have not had any issues with this. I have a 300 watt supply, running this card, firewire card, 2 drives, and 2 fans. No problem so it must draw a lot less than the box says. Runs at 33'c but have not over clocked and put to the max. Improved my desktop display and it is sending everything in 1080p to my HDtv. For someone who is not tech savy at all, I found this to install easy, works well and the interface is easy to understand. Good buy for $29 after rebate.

This is a good enough video card, it gave me an improvement in Flight Gear. It is completely quiet since there is no fan; one less thing to eventually go bad. What I don't appreciate on the part of Asus is how they handle the rebate. If you are buying this because of the rebate, I wouldn't do it. Here's why. I did everything right and sent in the paperwork, even pre-registered. The web site says to wait three weeks from the date your rebate is accepted before contacting them if you haven't received your rebate yet. Sure enough, three weeks goes by and no rebate. On their rebate site I can see they have not shipped it yet. So, I contacted them through the rebate site. I received an answer stating that they had received my request for information. Three days after that I receive an e-mail from someone there telling me he will forward my request on to the rebate department. That was four days ago, no word from them. So, they are playing games with my rebate. Last item I buy from Asus... Read more
