    This book is a most for a graphic design student. The design of the book itself is inspiring all on its own. I have never found myself admiring the beauty of a textbook of all things, but this one is a kind of masterpiece. Throw in the the actual you know...text and the excellent images and supplemental information and you have one of the best design books out there. Must have

The text is thorough and illuminating, covering everything from the basics to advanced concepts, with hundreds of accompanying real-world samples in a vast array of design styles.     This book just arrived and looks beautiful (it's for a class I have yet to start) but it's missing the registration card with the access code that is supposed to be shrink wrapped with the book itself... the book arrived, not shrink wrapped, and missing this card. ?
